The Elect

Jesus uses the same word only three times in Matthew 24 and again in Mark 13 when referring to "the Elect". Here is the point: The Elect are the ones that are gathered from the Earth just before His Return. (The Gathering is the correct word to use when referencing the taking of the Christians - the Elect - from the Earth just before the Return.)

Mark 13: 27 And then He shall send His angels, and shall gather together His Elect from the four winds. From the uttermost parts of the Earth to the uttermost parts of Heaven.

The word “Rapture” is not found in the Bible. Jesus said, To ‘GATHER” the elect. Therefore, it is the “gathering”.
