The Great Apostasy

The Trinity, consisting of God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit, exist outside of the created universe. They love each other with an infinite love that we cannot currently understand. God's plan is to bring us into that transcendent love and relationship. This is the best God can do and, by his nature, what he must do for us. Jesus's role is the creator of the physical universe, under God's plan. It was necessary for Jesus to make the universe so he could withdraw into it during his time on the cross. Jesus separated from God and the Holy Spirit both spiritually and physically; they also separated from Jesus. The Holy Ghost's role is to intercede with our lost minds in order to accomplish God's goals. Without the Holy Ghost's direction, we always make decisions that are inferior. The only way any group of people can develop a civilization is with the Holy Spirit reminding us of truth. When the Holy Spirit stops, that civilization fails. There are numerous examples in human history; the USA is currently going through this process of decline.

For Jesus to return at the end of the Gentile age, humanity has to be in a decline. This decline happens concurrently with all the physical chaos to come. Without Jesus' return, the human race would cease to exist; the end times would be an extinction event.

One of the major steps necessary for the latter days and end times requires the Holy Ghost to withhold influence over our daily decisions. We, as a whole, need to have a "great falling away", not from religious faith, but in everyday decisions. This is the Great Apostasy.

When Satan tempted Jesus with ruling over the kingdoms of the world, Jesus never said the devil was not able to accomplish this feat. So, the devil has power, on this earth, and the angels fight over the minds of men. The devil sees the decline due to the Holy Spirit's withholding and is using this time to advance his plan to eliminate the Jews. The recent turmoil in the US and around the world is evidence of the Great Apostasy.
